Overview

You have the right to delete your account and all your personal data from Nafsia Clinic anytime. This policy explains the process and implications.

Why Delete Your Account?

Common reasons: • No longer using the service • Privacy concerns • Want to remove personal data • Switching to another service • Any other reason

How to Delete Your Account

Simple steps:

From the App: 1. Open Nafsia Clinic app 2. Go to "Account" (bottom tab) 3. Click "Account Settings" 4. Choose "Manage Personal Data" 5. Scroll down 6. Click "Delete Account and Data" 7. Confirm request (password required)

From Website: 1. Log in 2. Go to Settings 3. Choose "Privacy & Security" 4. Click "Delete Account" 5. Confirm request

✅ Deletion is immediate and permanent

What Gets Deleted

Completely deleted: ✅ Full name ✅ Email address ✅ Phone number ✅ Date of birth ✅ Profile picture ✅ All profile data ✅ Session history (dates and times) ✅ Your ratings and reviews ✅ Messages and chats ✅ Payment history (from system)

NOT deleted (legal reasons): ⚠️ Invoice records (legal - 7 years) ⚠️ Transaction logs (for audit) ⚠️ Anonymized data (not linked to you)

What Is Not Deleted

Data kept for legal reasons:

Financial Records (7 years): • Algerian tax requirements • Compliance obligations • Audit and fraud prevention

Contract Data: • If you're a Professional with contract • Signed copy preserved

Anonymized Data: • Statistics (without your identity) • Market research (aggregate) • Performance analytics (total)

This data is not linked to you personally.

Retention Timeline After Deletion

Timelines:

Immediately (1 day): • Personal data • Profile • Messages and chats

Within 1 week: • Deleted media files • Temporary logs

Within 30 days: • Backups (until systems sync)

7 years (legal): • Invoice records • Financial logs • Tax reports

WARNING: Deletion is Permanent

⚠️ Important Warning:

• Deletion is permanent and irreversible • We cannot recover your data • Even if you change your mind later

To Return: • You'll need to create a new account • Start completely fresh • Previous credits won't be restored

Make Sure: ✓ Transfer any data you need first ✓ Use all your credits ✓ You're certain of your decision

Before You Delete

Things to know:

Digital Wallet: • Use all your credits first • Remaining balance will be lost • Cannot withdraw after deletion

Upcoming Sessions: • All future sessions canceled • May lose payments (per policy) • Professionals notified

Download Your Data: • If you want a copy first • Request from support • Contact: privacy@nafsiaclinic.com

Pending Sessions

If you have booked sessions:

When Account Deleted: ❌ All sessions immediately canceled ❌ Professionals notified automatically ⚠️ May lose part of payment (depends on timing)

Refund Calculation: • Per Cancellation Policy • <2 hours before = 50% only • >2 hours before = 100%

Tip: • Cancel sessions manually first • Get your refunds first • Then delete account

Professional Accounts

If you're a Professional:

Additional Process: • Platform management notified • If you have contract = copy retained (legal) • Outstanding payments processed

Pending Balances: • Withdrawn before deletion • Or added to your wallet • You can withdraw before deletion

Booked Sessions: • All future sessions canceled • Clients notified • Refunds processed per policy

Legal Data Retention

Reasons We Keep Some Data:

Legal Compliance: • Tax requirements (7 years) • Anti-fraud laws • Law enforcement requests • Contractual obligations

Safety & Protection: • Fraud prevention • Abuse investigations • Store policy compliance

Platform Requirements: • Google Play & Apple App Store • Audit and compliance • Protecting all users
